Ingredients

750  grams Frozen Corn (bag)

Dehydrated Corn Directions

Step 1:

Spread 750 g frozen corn kernels in a single layer on dehydrator trays. Break apart any clumps so air can circulate evenly around the kernels. You can also go with fresh corn.

Step 2:

Dry at 125°F (52°C) for 6–10 hours until kernels are hard and brittle. Stir once or twice during drying to improve airflow and ensure even drying.

Step 3:

Check several larger kernels before finishing. Corn should be completely hard with no internal softness when pressed.

Step 4:

Allow corn to cool completely before transferring to airtight storage containers.

Step 5:

To use, add approximately 2 tablespoons water per serving and soak for about 10 minutes, or cook directly in soups, rice meals, pasta dishes, and trail chili.
