Hi, I’m Andre!
A former chef with over 25 years of experience in casual fine-dining restaurants and hotels across Canada, including 8 years with the Earls Kitchen + Bar group in Vancouver, BC—I’ve always believed that food tastes better under an open sky. TrailEating was born from my love of exploring nature and creating meals that bring comfort and joy, even in the most remote settings. From solo treks to sharing fireside meals with friends, I’ve learned how to turn simple ingredients into memorable moments. Whether it’s a quick snack on the trail or a hearty dinner after a long day, I’m passionate about helping others experience the magic of outdoor cooking.
