For 1 Serving(s)

Pudding

3/4  cup Orange juice, unsweetened
3  tbsp Chia seeds
2  packet Sugar Twin (or sweetener of choice)

Topping

4  segments Orange segments, peeled and chopped
1  tbsp Coconut, almonds, or walnuts

Citrus Chia Camp Delight Directions

  1. In a small plastic container, combine 0.75 cup (6 oz) orange juice (from a juice box), 3 tbsp chia seeds, and 2 packets of Sugar Twin (or sweetener of choice). Stir well.
  2. Seal the container and let it sit for 6 hours (or longer) at ambient temperature, shaking occasionally if possible, until the chia thickens into a pudding consistency.
  3. Peel and cut 4 orange segments into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Once thickened, stir the pudding, top with the orange pieces, and sprinkle with your choice of 1 tbsp shredded coconut, 1 tbsp chopped almonds, or 1 tbsp chopped walnuts.
  5. Serve cold directly from the container—no cooking is needed!

Recipe Notes

  • Cold-soak for at least 6 hours; longer (or, overnight) yields a thicker pudding—ideal for overnight prep on the trail.
  • Use a juice box for easy packing; 6 oz (200 ml) is typical for single-serve boxes, or measure from a larger source.
  • Pack chia seeds, sweeteners, and nuts in sealed bags.
  • Bring one orange
  • Swap Sugar Twin with honey, maple syrup, sugar, or stevia—adjust to taste for your preferred sweetness level.
